Fernanda Lopez is the special guest to the show "Caixa de Musica" translated "Music Box" through Rede Novo Tempo. "Caixa de Musica" is a very well know music show within the brazilian christian community. Fernanda sang "Pai Me Perdoe" and "Deus Me Deu Voce" both composed by Adriana Soares and was interviewed. Biography
"Go and preach the Gospel" is what motivates this young lady to sing her heart out to the Lord everytime she can. Fernanda has been singing since her teenage years shortly after she fell in love with the Lord. Her approach to music is so personal as it is her experience with God.
Her new album titled #1 which has songs in both english and portuguese, is a demonstration of her love toward God which is the #1 and only!
"I decided to call my CD #1 because I needed to come up with a title that was common to both languages, so the symbol #1 came in handy. It's like calling my CD "God"!"
Throughout her musical growth she was inspired by many different styles and singers. She was influenced by the great voices of divas of the 90's, the amazing harmonies of negro spirituals, the vibrant swing of the Brazilian Bossa Nova, along with the traditional roots of the old church hymns. The result: #1 is filled with encouraging messages sang in a unique contemporary christian music feel.
Fernanda studied vocal techniques and piano in the busy city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she was born. Soon she started singing in church groups and was being invited to travel and perform in events. A few years later in United States, she recorded her first single with hopes to mirror the same scenario of musical presentations while she was going through college.
After this single opened up the first few doors for her ministry, Fernanda Lopez comes up with a much more mature and sophisticated approach in music. Breathtaking!

Hello everyone!
Here is the spot in my website that I can get to write whatever I want and isn't this so cool!!hahaha...Well I'll try not to bore you with absurd stuff but will take this time to talk about the journey that it's been to get this CD recorded. It all started many years ago when I was born...no...just joking. Well, about 5 years ago I recorded my fist single in United States, before this recording, I used to live in Brazil and I was very active in music. I sang in a few christian groups-bands I was amazed with the all the people I met and sang with. Every time I thought :"This singer is so great I really wish I could sing with him or her" it was just a matter of time and God would fulfill the desires of my heart. He is a good God! I traveled a lot and had the opportunity to sing in many well know church events in Brazil.
After my first double single with the songs "Mr. Busy" and "Forgive me" I focused on college but always had in the back of my mind that after graduation I'd come up with a new album and once again God was good and allowed me to do so.
I started writing songs and building the repertoire. I had the pleasure to have my long time friend Suzanne Hirle as my producer. Suzanne has been a producer to more than 50 successful albums in Brazil and wherever she goes her talent is recognized!
I was very pleased with all the great musicians and background vocalists that shared their talents with me: Leonardo Gonçalves, Felipe Valente, Paloma Possi, Marcelle Fonseca to name a few.
After recording the songs, mixing, and mastering the CD I've had a chance to see this web site getting built very closely and see the results of the videos and all the advertising materials. I hope that If you never listen to my songs before, that you take some time to click on the players and listen to the message and get a little closer to the #1 of our lives: God.
